Economic growth in Central Java in Quarter IV-2021 grew 5.42 Percent (Y-on-Y) if Q-to-Q grew 0.67 Percent

Abstract

The economy of Central Java in 2021 based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices (ADHB) reached Rp. 1,420,799.91 billion and at constant prices (ADHK) in 2010 it reached Rp. 997,317.10 billion.

The Central Java economy in 2021 (c-to-c) recorded positive growth, which was 3.32 percent compared to the achievement in 2020 which experienced a contraction of -2.65 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Construction business sector, which was 7.37 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the highest increase was recorded by the Component of Exports of Goods and Services (including Inter-Regional Exports) which amounted to 15.97 percent.

The Manufacturing Industry Business Field dominates the economic structure of Central Java in 2021 with a contribution of 34.31 percent, while in terms of expenditure it is dominated by the Household Consumption Expenditure Component (PK-RT) with a contribution of 60.14 percent.
